I have just received advice from the BSA and the Association of Wall & Ceiling Industries of Queensland Inc about how you can better understand the extent of the damage to Gyprock ( Plasterboard) for yourself.
By knowing a little about the product, you will be better prepared to discuss your needs with any builder or contractor who visit your property.
This would be particularly useful if you think that they are trying to feed you rubbish in order to increase their quote / estimate.
Please understand that there will be many instances where the board will need to be replaced to the ceiling and possibly the ceiling as well, but by knowing what to look for you will be better prepared.
