First Time Buyers - Get Ready to Build your Dream Home! September 19, 2012 10:46am
With the Newman Government ceasing the First Home Owner grant from 11th October 2012, the new option available is a grant of $15,000 to help first time buyers in purchasing newly-constructed properties. This grant will be available from mid September 2012 for properties valued at up to $750,000.
This is a massive boost for the building industry, but where does that leave first home buyers? It means that young couples can build their dream home sooner with this extra little bit of help!
Ken McKay Homes knows an affordable way to realise your dream of home ownership. Choosing to build a project home is an alternative that can bring the cost of a new home within reach.
Project homes do not comprise design, it purely means that plans are standardised with simplified facades, normal ceiling heights and basic interior fittings. Project homes are the logical choice for all new home owners looking for a new home that is limited by budget, and also by time. You will be able to move into your beautiful new home in a fraction of the time and all with great savings.
Building a new home will surely give you a step up 10 years down the track when you might be looking to upgrade once your family has grown. The value of a new home will last must longer than an older style Queenslander home that many young first home buyers were getting into the market with years ago.
If you are interested to know more about building a new home please feel free to contact Ken McKay Homes on email: firstname.lastname@example.org or 0411 590 931 and to find out if you qualify for the grant, and any further questions regarding this scheme, please contact Queensland Government; State Office of Revenue on 1300 300 734.
